Hello that is an interesting question the dress cultures of another race is not wrong or insulting, especially not to God In anyway. It can be fun to dress in African clothing, or trying a Asian style dress. Some times I wear a British style hat and clothing. But the question you asked is what does the Bible say about the subject of style of clothing. Well God is not like people it could not be wrong for a woman to have a short haircut or a man with neckline haircut. However, the Bible shows as time goes by a habit will develop in people that would not be appropriate such as cross dressing. What passage does the Bible refer to on this matter?
Deuteronomy 22:5
Easy-to-Read Version
5 “A woman must not wear men’s clothes, and a man must not wear women’s clothes. That is disgusting to the Lord your God.
1 Corinthians 11:14
Easy-to-Read Version
14 Even nature itself teaches you that wearing long hair is shameful for a man.
With these two verses we can see how God feels about cross dressing or behavior that indicates that a man is not manly and a girl is too man-like. The reason for this is because God created men and women in the image of God and cross dressing indicates that this is not true, Genesis 1:26–27.
